  2. 2. Provide all of them with a list of hints that they will use for the activity.

  3. 3. Explain the rules of the activity to the students:

    • -One student in each pair will start as the guesser and speller at the same time.
    • -These students stand behind the starting line, facing away from the whiteboard.
    • -Their pairs stand at the whiteboard, ready to write.

  4. 4. Begin the relay:

    • -For round 1, give the guessers/speller a specific clue or hint about a topic that they have already seen. They must guess the word based on the hint.
    • -Once the guesser/speller thinks they know the word, they run in order to communicate the word to their pair just spelling it.
    • -Their partner start to write in the whiteboard. The pair who writes first the word wins.
  5. 5. After the first round, switch roles within the pairs.

  6. 6. Continue with multiple rounds, each time providing a new hint. The pairs switch roles after each round.

  7. 7. The pair that successfully guesses and spells the most words correctly wins the relay.

OBSERVATION:
This acitivty can be addapted to the students' needs. For a blind person, he could just be standing up facing the whiteboard ready to write or also, being the guesser/speller with the help of the teacher.
In the case of a deaf person, the teacher can bring a piece of paper with the alphabet and the pair could just point the letters.
